Shine mentoring program 2012

The primary focus of the SHINE Mentoring Program is to enhance physical and emotional wellness and promote awareness of healthy lifestyles among women of all races and ages living in disadvantaged areas. The training sessions focus on providing participants with basic facts about specific life skills and the mentoring process. The training sessions will also introduce participants to strategic ways to deal with barriers to learning in the classroom. The SHINE Mentoring Program will finally address cultural awareness, leadership, professional development and spiritual growth and development.
